WATER, TAR SANDS OIL AND ETHANOL

REMEMBER THE 3,000 GALLONS OF WATER TO PRODUCE CORN FOR 2.5 GALLONS OF BAD ENERGY PRODUCING ETHANOL?
TO RETRIEVE ONE BARREL (42 U.S. GALLONS) OF OIL FROM TAR SANDS REQUIRES APPROXIMATELY 168 GALLONS OF WATER (much of which can and will be recycled).
FROM THAT BARREL THERE WILL BE 15 GALLONS OF GASOLINE, 9 GALLONS OF FUEL OIL (diesel and home heating), 10 gallons of kerosene (most in aviation fuel), THE REMAINDER IN OTHER OILS AND LUBRICANTS.
THIS BREAKS DOWN TO JUST OVER 28 GALLONS OF WATER TO PRODUCE 2.5 GALLONS OF 15% MORE ENERGY PRODUCING GASOLINE OVER ETHANOL.
WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE CONTAMINATION OF WATER LETS LOOK AT THE CONTAMINATION THE WATER USED IN FARMING CORN. THE SOIL IS FILLED WITH STIMULANTS BOTH NATURAL AND CHEMICAL (mostly oil based) FERTILIZERS, THEN THE GROUND IS SATURATED WITH PESTICIDES (once again mostly derived from oil and chemicals), VAST AMOUNTS OF WATER ARE SUCKED UP THROUGH EVAPORATION BEFORE THE GREEN CANOPY OF THE CORN CAN EVEN PROTECT MOISTURE IN THE SOIL, THEN EVAPORATION THROUGH THE LEAVES OF THE CORN REPLACES THE DIRECT SOIL TO ATMOSPHERE WATER LOSS. THE TRACTORS, CULTIVATORS, SPRAYERS AND HARVESTERS THEN USE DIESEL TO WORK THE FIELDS AND FURTHER CONTAMINATE THE SOILS AND THUS THE GROUND WATER. HOW MUCH OF THIS 3,000 GALLONS FOR ETHANOL IS THEN FIT FOR HUMAN AND ANIMAL CONSUMPTION? HOW MUCH CAN BE RECYCLED IN A CLEAN HEALTHY FORM?
