I can not express the sorrow I feel for every one in south central Texas. Nor can I express the great feeling of pride I feel for the great people of Texas and their immediate resiliency and love and caring for their neighbors, friends, families and most of all total strangers.
There are no whites, blacks, browns greens or purples in Texas this week. There are only children of God who happen to be Texans ( but are prepared) who help each other.
Blacks helping Whites and Hispanics, Hispanics helping Blacks and Whites ,Whites helping Blacks and Hispanics.
Then we have those who criticize the First Lady for wearing heels on Air Force One, does anyone remember when Ms. Obama came off of Air Force One in raggedy denim short shorts , thongs and a tank top? Didn't even cover her cellulite.
Texans who hunt, fish and own boats and guns were perhaps the best prepared PEOPLE TO HELP EACH OTHER IN AMERICA.
The Chocolate City of New Orleans had thousands die at the hands of their Democratic Mayor and their years of being subsidized by other Americans left them incapable of though or action to save themselves let alone help others.
