Were all of us alive today, aware of the fact the government of the United Kingdom called for a re-moralizing of the UK soul through a weekly Christian program?
In 1991-1942 the UK was being bombed into submission and America at the hands of FDR was doing nothing to prevent this systematic slaughter of UK Civilians. The moral of the people was being crushed after the Democratic Party (US) like appeasement of their leftist Prime Minister Ne-vile (Snivel) Chamberlain.
They asked C. S. "Jack" Lewis of "NARNIA" fame to host the program. Jack was chosen to lead this program as a devout CHRISTIAN and yet not claiming any specific creed or doctrine of Catholicism, Episcopalian, Methodist, Baptist, Puritan, Quaker or other sect.
Lewis knew there was one GOD the Father; one Son and Savior, Jesus Christ; and the being who makes such truths known to mankind, The Holy Ghost.
There was no Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, Agnostic or Communist called upon to lead the UK by broadcast through the seeming defeat by the Nazi's, but a Christian not afraid to take that most daunting of requests, to keep the children of God and citizens of the UK free from the cruel hand of the HITLER and the NAZIS.
Who won? The UK remains free through the grace of God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Ghost and the willingness of one CHRISTIAN man willing to embolden with his knowledge that they live.
