The news which rots America's TV junkies small minds even more is that news is the news which the Networks decide they want to broadcast.
We must only look back at O.J. Simpson then looking ahead to Casey Anthony, Jodi Arias and Oscar Pistorius to realize that the true news which effects the lives and safety of Americans (Fast and Furious, Russian invasion of Ukraine, Obama Care, Benghazi murders, NSA spying, dying economy, Keystone Pipeline to name a few) to realize the bizarre extremes the "news" will go to get ratings.
The Washington State landside and tragedy which may have killed well over 100 Americans gets a token mention and pales by comparison to the days spent pimping MH370 or Pistorius.
CNN brought back the Wright Brothers for an interview about MH370, FOX had Charles Lindbergh on for his insight, MSNBC found Emilia Earhart to discuss her navigation success in the South Pacific, NBC found several of the Doolittle Raiders to give their expertise on flying in the area, even I, who worked for the FAA in the 1960's and held a private pilots licence got a call for my thoughts.
