Does anyone else feel that the Olympics just don't really matter anymore?
What with NBC fawning all over the brutal, homophobic, racist, communist Vlady Boy Putin, Bobby Costa and his little eye infection and the incessant back stories while nearly 60% of the Olympic events are never seen here in the US can anyone care?
Bobby Costa has shown his true colors, the man should be barred from all sports announcing.  The person who has said that if he ever had a son with the talent to play football, he may not allow him to do so.  I don't think that will ever happen (having a son talented enough to play any sports above 5th grade).
I can not imagine if Costa had an ingrown toenail let alone a torn biceps tendon or a damaged knee ligament how he could continue announcing from the security and safety of his hideaway studio, with its air conditioning, heating, bottled water, soft chairs.
I think he is more concerned with having to show his physical frailty of having to wear seeing aids because of poor vision.  He has apologized several time for having to wear glasses.  Hey, he must have not had his contacts in when he picked out this really ugly pair of glasses.  That's his bad.
Will we now have a half-hour tribute to Bob Costa for his bravery courage training and sacrifice to overcome this adversity at the Olympics?
