CVS announced that is discontinuing the sales of tobacco products.
While this could be a good thing, it certainly was a great marketing and public relations move aimed at a product which is really a minimal sales and profit item for the company.
If CVS is so health and safety conscious don't you think that they would also drop booze. Whoa, beer, liquor and wine make up a lot more in profit for the 2nd largest prescription filler and health products retailer in America.
Booze contributes to more automobile accidents and deaths than any other cause in the country. Booze leads to addiction, liver and kidney failure, diminished mental capacity, but it does make a lot of money for the likes of Nancy Pelosi and her family.
