OLYMPIC PROPORTIONS

We are all aware that since the Nazi's hosted the games in Berlin the Olympics have been nothing more than political grandstanding and corruption.

During the entire cold war it was the United States attempting to show that their way of government produced better, happier young men and women with more skill and stamina than the Soviet Union and its minions.

Governments have boycotted Olympics over political issues (like this is a real punishment).

Then we know that billions of euros and dollars change hands in the bidding for and build up to the Olympics.  Corruption is rampant from Slat Lake City to Sochi, Russia.

Now we have the threat of weapons of mass destruction at the Winter Olympics where the Muslim Faith threatens to kill thousands (might not be bad if they got the International Olympic Committee Members)  then we have the summer Olympics in Brazil where soccer referees are beheaded.
