Chicago and Firearms

I would hope that everyone will understand that while I abhor the loss of every innocent life taken by violence or neglect, (machetes, knives, clubs, car bombs, suicide bombs, hands, bricks, firearms, abuse (physical, emotional, bullying or neglect).

However, with things like the current uprisings in the Democratic Republic of the Congo killing thousands each day, Syria still climbing towards 200,000 citizens killed, Chicago still the teenage murder capital of the world, we get fifty hours of what was a n accidental minor wounding of a child by her father in their home while cleaning his firearm, more hours on what now appears to have been an accidental wounding in a Philadelphia Charter School, a wounding in a New Mexico, were the ignorant Huffington post explained it was done with a forearm which does not even exist.
