When the BSA accepted gay scouts into the program I was absolutely incensed and stated so in no uncertain language. I criticized my own church for falling in line with popular sectarian doctrine which runs contrary to " A Proclamation to the World."
When Gates the former Secretary of Defense and the man who saw to gays and lesbians in the armed forces became the head of the BSA, I again stated my opposition to his stand on gays.
Now we have the Attorney General and head of the State Department, Eric Holder, feeling so confident with his pal Gates in the commanding position within the BSA that he is pushing the Obama position of demanding for gay leaders in the BSA.
I believe that the overall strategy is to make the BSA so unacceptable to mainstream Christian America that they will withdraw and the BSA will become a footnote in history with none of the solid building foundation and teaching which the BSA has until now instilled in young men.
