The Slaves in America

The slaves in America are many and come in all colors, races, nationalities, religions, beliefs and thoughts.

Nearly all are slaves to something.

To many it is power, real or perceived. 

Others, it is fame, real or faked.

Most are slaves to things, money, homes, boats, cars, art, fine clothes and the list goes on.

Some are slaves to knowledge.  Few are slaves to wisdom.  "Knowledge is being aware that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad."

Many are slaves to the hand out, the freebee, the dole, something for nothing, and that is what it is usually worth,  NOTHING!!

America would not be America today if it were not for women and men willing to give everything, even their lives for the right to liberty and safety.

At the beginning of the revolution America was the richest area in the world.

However, it was under the oppressive hand of the British Tax collectors.  They had the goose that laid the golden eggs and they were going to squeeze every last one out of her.

At least 50% of the population in America were Tories (those loyal to England) they felt that their power, riches, fame would be lost if America left the British protection.

They wanted to remain slaves to the freebees, false power  and false protection of the John Bulls and Red Coats. 

Today these people would be called Democrats.
