Yes, they will cut down on the emissions from tailpipes of diesel and gasoline powered cars.
However, where does the electricity to power these "clean" vehicles come from?
90% + of America's electricity comes from natural gas, coal, nuclear and hydroelectric sources.
All of these are hated by the eco friendly bunch who are lining up to get a new Tesla.
So while the natural gas and coal is ruining the air and water and nuclear plants can kill billions and dams are killing our rivers just keep thinking how much good you are doing the environment by driving you Prius and Tesla and where will your old deadly batteries be stored.
