I STAND CORRECTED

I realized that I had pulled the trigger prior to withdrawing from the holster.

Being the concerned citizen that I am I contacted the Vice Mayor of Chandler, Arizona, Mr. Kevin Hartke by e-mail.  Vice Mayor Hartke was kind enough to reply with both a phone call and an e-mail.

I also contacted Mr. Ian Linsson, Chief of Staff to the Mesa Mayor and Mr. Randy Policar, Media Contact for the Mesa City Council.

Vice Mayor Hartke stated that Chandler had been aware for sometime that they had been placed on the Sanctuary Cities List and gad tried for some time to set the record straight and have their name removed from the list as Chandler had no written, unwritten, implicit nor explicit, executive order, actual law or unwritten policies (nod, nod, wink,wink) which would place them as a Sanctuary City.

Mr. Linsson and Mr. Policar essentially said the same for the City of Mesa.

Mesa's issue appears to have arisen some years ago when the County Sheriff (my man) Joe Arpio had conducted a raid on city buildings and found that a contracting company which cleaned city buildings had illegal aliens working for them.

Perhaps the OJJPAC should call Mr. Hartke, Mr. Linsson and Mr. Policar for clarification so I would not have another hole in my thigh.
