BSA and GAYS

Should the BSA choose to ignore the 61-62% who oppose allowing Gays in any age bracket to join the BSA and should the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) ignore these people and go along with the BSA's proposal to allow gay youth as members I will drop any association with the BSA and drop my merit badge counseling in the the three citizenship merit badges.

I cannot believe that my church would back such secular worldly position after having recently lost tens of millions of dollars to a now adult, in prison from Oregon who claimed that his life of drugs and crime was caused from being molested by an LDS (Mormon) scout leader.

From a total BSA standing would any of the 61% of the parents opposed, feel comfortable with a troop where a 17 year old Senior
Patrol Leader was openly gay and was going on a 50 mile, 6 day hiking, camping experience with a group of 11 to 14 year olds?

I salute the Baptist and Pentecostal church who immediately opposed the BSA's proposal, I can only hope that the Catholic Church remains in opposition and pray the my church will will realize that it isn't about Adam and Steve but the sacred eternal plan of one man one woman from before creation multiplying and replenishing the earth in  the God ordained family.

From the 16th Chapter of "Gospel Doctrine" sermons and writings, President Joseph F. Smith, "The house of the Lord is a house order and not a house of confusion; and that means that the man is not without the woman in the Lord, neither is the woman without the man in the Lord; that no man can be saved be saved and exalted in the kingdom of God without the woman, and no woman can reach the perfection and exaltation in the kingdom of God alone."
