Did I miss the fact that Obama held a start of Rosh Hashanah State Dinner for Rabbi's and other prominent members of the Jewish community in Washington D.C.? I know that the Jewish community usually observes this Holy Day with private observance in their homes and perhaps Obama was respecting their private observance.
I am sure that he at least held a recognition of this Holy Day by a personal announcement from the oval office.
I saw all of the State Dinner for the Muslim community at the beginning of Ramadan and am sure there was at least a recognition of some kind for Rosh Hashanah.
As of this date I have not heard that Obama is planning a Christmas State Dinner for Pastors, Ministers, Priests and Bishops from Christian Faith.
Anybody have any info on this possibility?
