MOONSHINE PARTY

The "Tea Party" should really change it's name to the "Anti-Revenuer Party". They could not have chosen a better location than Opryland nor a better keynote speaker than Sarah Palin to highlight the true disposition of their cause celeb. If they get all of the "moonshiners", "poachers", "NASCAR fans", watchers of HEE HAW and ANDY GRIFFITH reruns behind them they might be able have The Constitution translated into Hillbilly.

The sad part of this is that it probably represents 50% of white Americans.

Also anyone reading this stuff would think that I am one of them, as I do not really edit that which I rite, wright, right, rat, write . One of them should be rite

Yes, I must admit that I do hunt and own firearms, enjoy classic country music on occasion, and did chuckle at the antics of Barney Fife and his replacement, Sarah Palin, and I do despise the current wrongful serfdom (taxation) laid upon us by arrogant condescending politicians. Perhaps a party launching itself in Opryland hopes to attract people who understand more than moonshine recipes, don't even know the name Dale Earnhardt nor Toby Keith.

I must also say that I know nothing about the "TEA Party". Have they put together a platform? Do they have a true substantial agenda? Do they have a strategic plan to really affect change? Or do they just think that they can bully those in power to cower down?

These people currently holding power will say anything to remain in power and can not be trusted to do what they promise before election day. A true meaning- full agenda would be concentrating on three or four vulnerable senatorial seat and perhaps ten to twelve congressional posts. Anyone would be fool to attempt a third party candidate for president at this stage. Remember Ross Perot? Upset Americans turned the Oval Office into Slick Willies "Play Pen"! Do you think that Letterman took the idea for cigars from Clinton?

On another note. Has anyone noticed that when the African-American (was it Woodrow Wilson who said, "Never trust a person with a Hyphenated description of himself,"?) president speaks he so often has his head and chin raised as if speaking down to a very lower class than his exalted self?

Every politician should be named "Moses"! Only because when they open their mouths the bull rushes out!
